Message	You can blame the track for running slower......yes. You cannot blame the track for smoking your tires halfway down the track (and incidentally...running even slower than you would if you didn't spin the wheels...even if you had to put down less power) I've watched people with far more power than steamy run 8s on a track I had trouble getting a stock TT to hook up on. Those in Texas know how bad Temple is....and old school guys who've been doing it for a while can pull sub 10s there. He said he could do it(launch cleanrly) and laughed. He didn't. Said the ideas I presented (and are used by faster people here and in Japan) were somehow wrong. We (those who sat around a table talking about him) laugh. I don't like being talked down to. rich
